In this introductory animation workshop, students will learn how to record video and transform it into their very own animation using the Stop Motion Studio app on their phones! The class will cover the fundamentals of animation, rotoscoping, recording, editing, and rendering and students will leave with their own finished animation!

For this workshop, students will need a smartphone or smart pad, with the Stop Motion Studio Pro App installed ($4.99). This app is what will be used in the workshop and beyond if students really want to get into the art form.

This 3-hour skill-building workshop takes place 4-7 pm, Friday, March 25 in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in downtown Mt. Pleasant.
